We love doing crafts and Art from Recycling materials. When I craft with my daughter I prefer not to spend much on the craft and go for inexpensive crafts. The advantage of involving kids in recycling is that they become more responsible and creative in using the resources. Before we toss something in recycling Bin, CJ always asks Mommy wait don't you think that we can do a craft with these:-)

When I was a child in my place more emphasis was on the crib scene, the real reason for Christmas and very few people used to have Christmas tree. But now the trend has changed there too so many Christmas tree in shops and everywhere. I still remember how we used to sow the mustard seeds in the mud and waited for the seeds to sprout. The mustard grass bed would be the initial set up of crib.
