Kool aid ice cube Painting: Paper Towel Impressions

Kool-aid ice painting and paper towel impressions

The inspiration for the art is from our Double rainbow painting where we had used paper towels to remove the excess paint. They made some beautiful impressions. From that time, I had the project in my to-do list. Finally we gave it a try with the left out bunch of the Kool aid ice cubes.

All you need is: Foam board/Poster board, Kool-aid or color ice cubes, Paper towel

CJ painted the foam board(sturdy, waxy, perfect for the ice cube painting)

When she covered a small area of the board, I asked her to place the paper towel as shown below.

Slowly remove the paper and you'll hear ooh and aah at the results.
