Packing peanuts: Geometry and Sculptures

Recently we got a fragile parcel and that means a box full of packing peanuts. Now what do we do with the box of peanuts! We have been playing around with them. CJ and I had fun building shapes, 2D's, 3D's with tooth picks and the packing peanuts.

Make geometry and sculptures using Packing peanuts and Tooth picks

  3. Good job coming up with something creative to do with those things. The kids tend to make such a mess with them that I try to get them out of the house ASAP, but maybe next time I'll give this activity a try.

  5. I have done this with marshmallows, but this is even better bc my daughter won't end up with a sugar high afterward.

  7. Any idea of an alternative to toothpicks? They might be dangerous for the age group I'm working with.
