Magnetic Bottle Lids/caps play: 100 Days of Play

We love collecting recyclables, Junk and we have a collection of bottle lids/caps. I store them, they are easy to find and fun to play with. Magnetic stuffs are our all time favorite and this time we created Magnetic bottle lids.
Magnetic bottle lids are perfect to create/recreate collages on a cookie tin lid/ Cookie tray. We also played fishing game with bottle cap magnets.

Materials Used:

Magnetic Bottle lids:

For the play:
Cookie Tray/Cookie Tin
Magnetic Bottle lids

Generally I store the Fridge Magnets, Magnetic Pom poms, craft sticks and the bottle caps in the Cookie boxes. That way we can upcycle the cookie boxes, Store/organize the magnetic stuff in a box. No need to search for a cookie tray, you can use the cookie box lids for the magnetic play. The boxes are easy to carry along for road trips

Steps overview:

Remove the foam adhesive stickers and stick the magnet to the flat side of the bottle lids. If you are using non-adhesive magnets, use a strong glue and glue the magnets.

Magnetic Bottle lids, for added fun create a whole bunch!

Now time for play!

I was thinking to create collages/patterns of bottle lids. But my daughter got reminded of the fishing game we made. So we caught the Magnetic bottle lid fishes with the metal end of scissors

  4. Magnets are so fun and it makes it even better that you thought of three ways to play with these magnets. I have a drawer full of bottle lids that I've been waiting to use until I find just the right project. I think I just found it! :)
